Previous winners of the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce awards include local standouts Professionals Palm Beach/Elanora and Wilson National, but the majority of entrants are fresh faces for 2009.
The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce President, Darren Mackintosh, said that this was a great indication of the sheer volume of exceptional businesses located on the southern Gold Coast. “The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce holds an annual awards ceremony to identify and publicly reward innovative businesses and non profit organisations within the southern Gold Coast region that usually receive no formal recognition for their dedication and service to the local community. The fact that we have so many fresh faces nominated for awards this year means that the area is rich with talented and promising businesses that will lead the Gold Coast into the future,” he said.
The outcome of the awards will be determined by a panel of judges that include local business leaders and local MP Jann Stuckey. Winners will be announced at the gala breakfast awards ceremony to be held at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on September 3, 2009, from 7 am. Tickets are $25 Members, $35 Non Members. All welcome, bookings are essential.
The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce 2009 Business Awards are proudly supported by leading local Gold Coast businesses and groups including Currumbin RSL, Coldwell Banker Palm Beach, Inology, Bayview Enterprises, and special awards partner Connecting Southern Gold Coast.

Businesses thinking of attending the awards are encouraged to act quickly; bookings are expected to fill quickly. Bookings can be made online at www.creektocreekchamber.org.au or by calling Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce Secretary on 0415310193.
