Applications for funding under the 2019-20 Community Grants Program, including Seniors Week 2019, are being invited from Monday 25 February until 4pm on Thursday 28 March 2019.

Funding will be available for projects in the following categories:

  • nature conservation (including wildlife caring) and environmental sustainability
  • culture, history and heritage (including community events)
  • safe city
  • capacity building
  • active community.

Indicative funding limits for grants in each category are detailed in the Community Grants Program Funding Category, details of which are set out in the Smarty Grants application form below.

Acquittal requirements

Grants of $2001 and above require acquittal within eight weeks of project completion.
