Palm Beach Shoreline Project Feasibility Report

The Palm Beach Shoreline Project feasibility study has reviewed research data and reports about coastal management and the Palm Beach environment to assess the feasibility of coastal management schemes. 18 management options were identified. These were assessed and the following seven schemes were shortlisted for further assessment.

A full copy of the report is available via our project website at www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/palm-beach-shoreline-project-feasibility-report-14677.html. The content of the report has also been summarised in a three page information sheet which is also available via our website at www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/feasibility-study-information-sheet-14637.html.

The website (www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/palmbeach) also contains a range of other information resources for you and your members. Examples include information sheets which describle elements of work and research completed to date, coastal aerial imaging of the Palm Beach shoreline, as well as detailed videos regarding the history of Palm Beach.
