Connecting Southern Gold Coast (CSGC) is calling for local small business owners to join a subsidised business workshop training program to enhance their business skills, commencing in November.

Normally valued at $2395, participants will only pay $25+ GST per person per certificate in exchange for expert business advice and the tools to grow their business successfully, delivered by the Queensland Government's  Small Business Solutions mentor, Dani Frazer. 


Up to eight small business owners will have the opportunity to take part in five weekly workshops for ‘Building a Better Business’ on Thursday nights from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Currumbin RSL on the following dates:

  • Thursday 5 November
  • Thursday 19 November
  • Thursday 26 November
  • Thursday 10 December
  • Thursday 17 December


A 3-week program is also available for start-up businesses, with places for up to eight entrepreneurs to take part. The ‘Turn your business ideas into reality’ workshop will run on a Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm also at Currumbin RSL, on the following dates:

  • Saturday 21 November
  • Saturday 28 November
  • Saturday 12 December


To be eligible for the course, participants must have Australian Citizenship, attend all dates listed above to complete the course requirements and must not have or be enrolled in a Certificate III or IV level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training).
