This area has a number of leading businesses in a number of different industries which include education, finance, leisure, tourism, property, personal, health and medical, government, transport and manufacturing.

Community Events

SandTunes Music Festival will hit Coolangatta Beach on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December, 2019 with organisers on track to deliver a music festival that will showcase the beauty of the iconic Coolangatta Beach to the world and deliver significant economic benefit to the Southern Gold Coast.

BNI Gold Coast and Tweed Shire Region is holding their inaugural black-tie event, Charity Gala Ball from 6:30 pm on Saturday 22 June 2019 at RACV Royal Pines. The charity of choice this year is NewLife Care, located at Robina.

 

Government Representatives

The Great Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce takes in the major centres from the Tallebudgera Creek to the NSW Border including Coolangatta, Currumbin, Currumbin Valley and Waters, Elanora & Palm Beach, Tallebudgera, Tallebudgera Valley and Tugun. The Great Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is an apolitical organisation, and is supported by our local, State and Federal government representatives.
