About KateKate is the CEO/Director of Nursing of the Currumbin Clinic, a 104 bed private mental health facility located on the Gold Coast and part of the Healthecare group of hospitals. In 2015 she was relocated to Townsville to help commission the new Townsville Private Clinic, the first private mental health facility in the area, quickly ensuring its reputation as a centre of excellence in this Garrison city. In 2017 she returned to the Gold Coast and the clinic that holds her heart and later that year was promoted to CEO. A nurse with a passion for patient centred care she also has keen business acumen, a combination that has helped her achieve her role today. With a keen interest in the community she joined the Greater Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce in August and is looking forward to actively contributing to the committee. |
