The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce is searching for nominations for the The Sun Community Newspapers 2007 Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

The business awards is a celebration of business in the Palm Beach, Tugun, Elanora, Currumbin, Tallebudgera area. The awards are open to all businesses including members and non members of the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce.

The 2007 Business Awards features eight categories and businesses can nominate in more than one category, where applicable.

Categories in 2007 include:

Under 25 Business Achiever - Self employed or within a business
Award Business Achiever Award - 5 or less employees
Business Achiever Award - 6 - 30 employees
Business Achiever Award - 30 plus employees
Business Achiever Award - Home based
Business Achiever Award - Non profit/ community organisation
Business Achievement Award - product or service innovation
Special Achievement Award - Business or individual

Why nominate?

The awards are designed to showcase businesses of all sizes, including Young, Home Based and Community Business Achievers. The awards also act as a self auditing business tool allowing businesses nominating for the awards to view their business from the outside.

Winners receive a stunning trophy, which can be displayed at the winning business, it is also a great opportunity to recognise and reward staff. Furthermore, this year The Sun will feature some businesses that nominate in the lead up to the awards, and will feature the winners once they are announced.

Customers can nominate outstanding businesses

And remember customers can nominate their favourite or outstanding business that they know, including your local butcher or bank. When a customer nomination occurs, the business being nominated will be contacted to formalise the nomination.

As with previous years, the business awards will be independently judged by leading industry specialists from relevant business feilds.

Finalists will be contacted one week prior to the Awards Breakfast.
