Our activities span from Tallebudgera to Coolangatta, emphasizing economic growth, sustainable development, and enriching the business landscape. The goal of the Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is to provide a leadership role in achieving economic growth and encourage sustainable development of the local area which will enhance and benefit the business community.

Our vision is to empower the Southern Gold Coast business community towards sustainable growth and innovation. We stand as the unified voice for businesses, advocating for conducive policies and initiatives that benefit our diverse membership base. By fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and proactive engagement, we aim to enhance the overall business climate and ensure sustainable progress. Through regular networking events, strategic partnerships, and advocacy, we are dedicated to being the leaders of Southern Gold Coast Industy, ensuring our region remains a vibrant place for business and community life.

The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce's strategic plan outlines the following Strategic Pillars in supporting the board's management efforts to deliver on the Chamber's vision and mission:

  • Membership:

Focuses on growing the Chamber's membership, ensuring engagement, and delivering value. The Membership Working Group supports this by targeting local business, developing personalized onboarding experiences, and enhancing member retention through engagement strategies.

  • Events/Collaboration:

Aims to create a dynamic calendar of events to foster networking, collaboration, and education. The Events Working Group plays a crucial role in developing these events, collaborating with organizations, and creating networking opportunities to strengthen the Chamber and you Business's impact.

  • Advocacy:

Dedicated to championing the interests of the business community through targeted initiatives and fostering participation in advocacy efforts across multiple bodies. The Advocacy Working Group coordinates these efforts and engages members through educational sessions and workshops.

  • Communications:

Enhancing the Chamber's communication strategies to ensure clear, consistent messaging across multiple platforms. The Communications Working Group is responsible for developing and enhancing a digital presence, and effectively conveying the Chamber's mission, activities, and achievements in order to becomes a trusted source of local business knowlegde.
