Study Gold Coast are excited to announce that the 2021 Gold Coast Careers Festival is being held on Thursday to Saturday, 6-8 May 2021 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach.

The Gold Coast Careers Festival will attract over 10,000 high school students, job seekers, parents and career changers.

The Festival is expanding into a three-day format to allow more people to attend the event. Previously the Festival was held over two weekdays, catering largely to school students looking to explore their career options and the study pathways to achieve their goals. The 2021 event will also include a Saturday, giving job seekers, parents and career changers more opportunities to attend.

While the Gold Coast Careers Festival has been a huge success for many years, we realise that people with weekday commitments have been unable to attend in the past and with more experienced members of the workforce rethinking their careers in the wake of COVID-19 the new format for this year’s event will better suit their needs.

Last year we had to reinvent the Festival by creating a virtual event, but now that we have greater social mobility, we are really excited about bringing the Careers Festival back to the city.

Along with the city’s key employment areas of health, business, education and the creative industries, this year the Festival will have a strong focus on future career opportunities with inspirational talks and information sessions on artificial intelligence, the space industry, information technology, entrepreneurship, and scientific research. Attendees will also be able to book free sessions for career guidance and resume health checks.

Education institutions, industry representatives and employers are very welcome to book a booth at the Careers Festival.

We are positive the Gold Coast Careers Festival will be a great success and a significant event for the Gold Coast, as the city recovers from the effects of the pandemic. The Festival is free to attend.
