National Trust's Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is an internationally renowned tourist attraction receiving over 600,000 visitors a year, and plays a significant role in wildlife conservation and education.
In 1976 the Sanctuary was gifted to the National Trust of Queensland, and was heritage listed in 2009. The Trust continues to operate the Sanctuary on a not-for-profit basis, with all revenue reinvested back into the park, in conservation-based research and public education.
The Sanctuary is also home to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. Treating over 11,500 sick and injured native animals every year as a free service to the community, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital has grown to be one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world.
By raising funds and awareness Currumbin Wildlife Hospital aims to continue its mission of protecting and preserving our native wildlife for future generations to enjoy.
The Sanctuary also offers unique wildlife experiences for corporate events and corporate team building, and we are currently inviting Corporate Partnership opportunities.
