Safer Suburbs Awards

Do you know an active community member or organisation that makes our city a safer place to live? Give them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for a 2021 Safer Suburbs Award.

Safer suburbs create stronger and more connected communities. Previous winners have been recognised for their work in domestic and family violence support and prevention, mentoring young people, hosting cyber security sessions and supporting people experiencing homelessness. If you know an individual or group who has made a genuine effort to create a safer city for us all, please take the time to nominate them.

There are four award categories: individual, not-for-profit group, business and project.

The online nomination form is available at cityofgoldcoast.com.au/safersuburbsawards or pick one up from any City customer service centre, community centre or library. Nominations close 17 September 2021.

An awards ceremony will be held in November to acknowledge each nomination and to announce the winners.
